SHIPPING POLICY

I'm a big fan of USPS. Anything I ship via Etsy or any other platform I ship via USPS First Class and send out within 1-3 business days of ordering, unless otherwise noted.  If you need a rush order, it is available for an additional charge. 

I use USPS because I believe in the institution and believe supporting them is necessary. Once a package is sent, you will receive tracking info for your order. 

RETURN & REPAIR POLICY

Return or Exchange Policy:

All sales are final unless your item arrives damaged or by mistake an incorrect item is received. 

In order to be eligible for a refund or exchange, please contact me within 30 days of the date of purchase. Due to the nature of my work, as there are only 3 pairs or less for any one design, a replacement may not be available. If there is a replacement in stock, it will be sent your way post-haste. In the case where a replacement is not available, we can either issue a refund, or find another earring of similar value to replace the old. 

Repair Policy:

I offer repair for my pieces, free of charge, for up to two months from the date of purchase. If a repair is needed any time after the first two months, cost will be determined after an evaluation of the repair needed. 

Please note that I do everything in my power and skill to ensure the long-lasting nature of each Kindred work I put into the world. That said, I also ask that while in your possession you follow my care instructions - to help keep each piece in good health. 

Repairs will not be offered for excessive water damage. Wood is a living breathing being and will soak in as much moisture as it can. I have finished each piece with an organic beeswax oil to keep moisture out and keep chemicals away from sensitive lobes - but this beeswax is not shower proof, pool proof, or even splashy puddles around the sink proof. If they get wet, dry them off as soon as possible and let dry with equal air flow on both sides. It's not that you can't get caught in the rain while wearing them, just don't get caught in the rain, and then stand in the downpour, looking skyward, all Shawshank Redemption like - that won't be good for anyone. 

For an evaluation of repair, send an email with an image of the damaged piece, along with the undamaged partner through the website. If it is determined a repair can be made - and I will do all in my power to make sure your one-of-a-kind piece can be salvaged - I will then contact you with further instruction and how we will move forward.
